HQ Pro-Stitcher Computerized Longarm
HQ Amara 20” Longarm – $35/hour
HQ Forte 24” Longarm – $35/hour
2 hour minimum rental time
Please schedule your rental 48 hours prior to your desired time. Rental time is only during normal business hours. Schedule is on a first come, first served basis. Changes or cancellations made less than 24 hours before rental time will be subject to a $20 fee.
In lieu of a longarm certification class, your first 2 hours of rental on stand-up machines will be a 1 on 1 training session, using a sample quilt sandwich, so you can learn to load a quilt, practice skills, and take care of the machine. The sweet sixteen requires no training. All rentals include Glide or Premo-Soft thread, use of machine and accessories, including needles, pins, bobbins, leader grips, ruler base, shop owned rulers, etc. You may use any of the patterns on our Pro-Stitchers, if renting time a Pro-Stitcher machine.
What isn’t included: Backing & Batting (We sell a variety of wide backings, as well as Quilter’s Dream batting). If you have a specific pattern for the Pro-Stitcher that we don’t have, you may purchase it and bring it in on a personal flash drive. Variegated and metallic thread is available for a $2/bobbin fee.
Use of a brand of thread not sold by Quilt Elements must be approved. The rental fee will not be reduced if you do not use our thread. Quilt Elements reserves the right to reject any fabric, batting or backing on our machines. Bedsheets (with the exception of flannel) are not acceptable for backings due to their high thread counts. This prevents damage, costly repairs and/or part replacement, and makes your quilting experience as successful as possible. By using quality thread, needles and other materials, we can keep our rental machines in top shape for you to use!
How much time should I schedule? This will change depending on what you are quilting on your quilt but generally:
Baby/Lap – 2-3 hours
Twin or full – 3-4 hours
Queen – 3 1/2 – 5 hours
King – 4 hours+
What if I don’t finish in one session? If there isn’t another renter waiting to use the machine, extend your time. If there is a renter waiting, or it is closing time, use leader grips to attach the quilt to the frame, so we can snap the quilt of the frame, and snap it back on for your next session. No zippers, no pins!
